There are many countries on earth. They have some differences from size, culture, climate, government, and etc. Those countries have their own uniquenesses and those differences are beautiful. But some countries also share something in common. Below are several similarities between Belize and Mexico.

The first similarity is that both countries belong to the same continent which is America. They also bordered by the Caribean Sea, although Belize is bordered on the east, meanwhile, Mexico is bordered on the southeast. Moreover, they are neighbors and have a good relationship in diplomatic stuff and any other stuff.

Another similarity between Belize and Mexico is their month of independence which is September. This could be mean that they celebrate the most significant holiday in the same month, although, it is on different days for each of the countries. Belize received independence from the United Kingdom on September 21, 1981, whereas Mexico declared independence from Spain on September 16, 1810.

Finally, Belize and Mexico practice the same religions such as Roman Catholic and Protestant. According to Wikipedia, on the 2010 census, 40,1% of Belizeans are Roman Catholic, while the rest practice Protestant and other religions. In Mexico, based on the 2010 census, 83% of Mexican practice Roman Catholic and the rest practice Protestant or no religion. Based on the data served above, we can conclude that most of the people in Belize and Mexico have Roman Catholic as their religion.

In conclusion, Belize and Mexico share some unique similarities in the context of the continent, month of independence, and of the practice religion. They might also have lots of differences, but something that needs to be highlighted is that both countries also have something in common.
