            Playing games is natural for children. Games are fun and relaxing in students perspective. They include activities which have goals and rules at the same time fun. Games motivate students to join in. However, games should have a central place in language teaching because they create a friendly atmosphere in the classroom. Games are one of the most important components in EFL classrooms, so if the games are boring and stiff to play you need to be prepare of students bad response. Becuase, games enhance students involvement in language learning. games provide a necessary and meaningful context for language learners. For the record, relaxed environment it is mostly possible that real learning take place, furthermore learners are able to use the target language that have been exposed to and have been practiced earlier by the learners. When playing games, students become more engaged in their learning, taught content is reinforced and class positivity is increased.

            Playing games in the classroom increases overall motivation. By playing games, students become more motivated to learn, pay attention and participate in set tasks. Games help students to become a part of a team as well as take responsibility for their own learning. It can be said that games create a competition positively among students who are involved in a language activity. Games are a great way to control the competitiveness between peers. By using games in the classroom, students can compete against each other whilst playing a game, then support each other during other learning activities. Games give a chance to escape from unusual routine, but they are very important in terms of motivation and challenges. Moreover, games provide encouragement to interact and communicate successfully for learners and permanence to carry on the effort of learning and create a context to use the language meaningfully. Games have many advantages for both language teachers and its learners. They support learning the target language when learners are involved in the games and have fun without noticing that they are learning the target language, and furthermore it is a pleasure for the teacher that he presents the language in an enjoyable atmosphere.

            Most games require problem-solving strategies and planning. By applying a range of strategies in a game, students are able to use their working memory to solve problems, increasing their mental cognition. Stimulating the brain with strategies in a game can be a great brain workout. Using games in a lesson as part of teaching and learning helps to create positivity around the lesson, motivating students with their participation and creating a positive attitude towards learning. Games can also create a positive memory and experience of learning for students in the classroom. In a language learning atmosphere, stress-free environment should be provided. At this point games are very advantageous since learners do not feel any anxiety and their positive feelings increase and their self-confidence improve because they are not afraid of being punished or criticized while they are practicing the language freely.

            Playing games in the classroom increases class cooperation. Classroom games can also be used as a team-building exercise. Students need to work together as a team when playing as a whole class against the teacher, or in small team groups when playing games with each other. In this way, students learn how to take turns, build respect, listen to others and play fairly. Games are a great tool to use in the classroom to consolidate new knowledge. After teaching new content to the class, provide students with a game that will consolidate their understanding and make connections with what they already know.
